Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules for using the NotifyHub platform. Using the service implies acceptance of this AUP.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use NotifyHub to send:
- Spam: unsolicited commercial messages or messages without recipient consent
- Phishing: messages impersonating third-party communications to obtain credentials or sensitive data
- Malware: links or attachments containing malicious software
- Harassment: intimidating, threatening, or discriminatory messages
- Illegal content: material that violates local, national, or international laws
- Deceptive content: false, misleading, or fraudulent information
3. Channel Compliance
Each channel has specific rules that users MUST follow:
- WhatsApp: comply with the WhatsApp Business Policy. Pre-approved templates are required for business-initiated messages. Opt-in consent must be obtained before sending.
- Telegram: comply with Telegram Bot API Terms. Do not message users who have not initiated a conversation with the bot.
- Email: comply with GDPR and the ePrivacy Regulation. Always include a working unsubscribe link. Respect opt-out lists.
- Push: respect user notification preferences. Do not send excessive push notifications.
- Discord/Slack: comply with the respective platforms' Terms of Service.
- Messenger/Instagram DM: comply with the Meta Platform Policy. 24h response window for standard messages.
4. Fair Use and Rate Limits
- Rate limits are enforced per plan (see Terms of Service)
- Burst sending exceeding 10x the normal rate is temporarily throttled
- API usage must comply with limits documented in the API documentation
- Scraping or unauthorized automated use of the web platform is prohibited
5. Consequences of Violations
Violations are handled progressively:
- First warning: email notification requesting cessation within 24 hours
- Temporary suspension: sending blocked for 7 days for repeat offenses
- Account suspension: full account disablement with option to export data
- Termination: permanent account closure without refund for serious or repeated violations
Serious violations (phishing, malware, illegal activity) result in immediate termination without notice.
6. Reporting Abuse
To report platform abuse: support system. All reports are reviewed within 24 business hours.
7. Changes
GiaNet Media reserves the right to update this AUP. Material changes are communicated via email with 15 days' notice.
